These are very small, maybe 1/2" across. It always amazes me to see the tiny details on even the smallest flowers.

There is a lot of open range in the Eastern Sierra. We had to wait for cows and bulls to cross the road several times.

We went into the Piper Mountain Wilderness area and were pleased to find an abundance of Joshua Trees! Many were flowering, which added to the treat.
